The Dreamscience 3″ Down pipe Race cat is a high flowing system made from mandrel bent 304 grade aircraft spec stainless steel. This system has been designed and manufactured by our top technical engineers in the U.K. We have equipped this system with a threaded boss for the standard oxygen sensor. When designing the RS MK3 Down Pipe Race cat we made sure we aimed to achieve certain important qualities. Optimum performance, Sharped Sound, high quality finish. This modification removes the restrictive standard cat and down pipe and replaces it with a 3″ high flowing Race cat. This will therefore allow the turbo to spool better and faster, increasing acceleration and power. This will also improve throttle response and the torque output of your RS.

This particular replacement will make the biggest difference in performance when changed as it is the most restrictive part in the standard exhaust system.

When carrying out the stage 2 and stage 3 development on the DS Ultima 2+ and DS Ultima 3 maps, The Dreamscience Down pipe Race Cat played a key role in achieving high bhp and torque figures on the road. This design allowed the increased air to flow through at a much faster rate increasing power higher in the rev range where it is really needed. Our 200 Cell catalyst is Unlikely to trigger any Mil light as we have added extra loading to this cat to reduce emission particulate. Dreamscience maps for the RS MK3 can be sound at the link below;

This Procedure is below:
– Protect Vehicle Steering wheel with Cover.
– Protect Seats with Cover.
– Pre-work test Drive to fault find before we carry out work.
– Pull in, lift and Strip Vehicle.
– Book out parts and Fit.
– Road test, check over.
– Final Clean down and Handover.
