Wiseco Piston Specifications:
Our Wiseco pistons are specifically designed for highly boosted, direct injection engines like the GM’s LNF 2.0. These pistons utilize unique form tooling to replicate the original dome and bowl design, ensuring proper combustion characteristics.

All Wiseco Sport Compact kits include 1mm x 1.2mm x 2.8mm XX ring sets. These rings have a stainless steel gas nitride top ring, a cast iron Napier hook second ring, and a flex-vent oil ring with gas nitride scraper rails. Piston pins and corresponding clips are also included, along with ArmorGlide™ skirt coating for improved wear and friction reduction. These pistons are direct replacements for the standard parts, maintaining many of the original dimensions.

Watch us install this package! Our experienced technicians will take great care of your Focus ST250. We follow a strict procedure to ensure the highest quality:
- Protect the steering wheel with a cover
- Protect seats with covers
- Conduct a pre-work test drive to identify any issues
- Pull in, lift, and strip the vehicle
- Book out parts and fit
- Rebuild
- Road test and check over

Absolutely phenomenal job by the guys at DS.
My ST250 was unfortunately a victim of the dreaded ‘Eco-boom’, and Ford were going to charge absolutely silly money to have the bottom end of the engine replaced. I had a chat with Carl at DS about this, and it was quickly apparent that having the engine forged was the way to go. They gave my car the respect it deserved, and now she runs like a ‘dream’ (pun definitely intended).
When you have your engine forged at DS, they send you a ton of high quality photos, which document the entire job. This small detail has given me great confidence in the work they’ve carried out, and has certainly won my loyalty!
