ST225 Forge Recirculation Valve
This is a piston design recirculation valve that is a direct replacement for the original fitment. This valve gives greater longevity than the diaphragm (OEM) valves but also benefits from its ability to be fitted with different springs when the boost pressure has been increasded or the engine has been modified. To ease installation the top or vacuum connection is angled.
FAQ: What spring colour do I need if I am running a Dreamscience Tune? (i.e. Mod X or Mod XRS)
A: The Yellow spring is required (The yellow spring comes already fitted already when you purchase this product here)
The idea of these is that the standard valve on the car is suitable for standard boost settings however once you get a remap the boost pressure often increases resulting in the standard diaphragm in the dump valve to collapse as it is not designed for anything over standard boost pressure, this in turn will cause a boost leak. With this Forge dump valve it is a much stronger unit and will with stand boost pressures of over 2.5 Bar.
The forge Recirculation will increase the Turbo-Chatter when used with an open intake kit. Reduces the Recirculation noise when cruising too.
Dreamscience Chose the ST225 Forge Recirculation Valve over all other competition due to it working the best out of all. Some other alternatives do not suit the ST225 engine and it’s PCM. Other Valves can leak air under vacuum/idle or cruising. This causes fuelling issues.

Good quality part. It´s very fiddly to install. Most difficult part was to get the bolts back in with the forge valve and Turbo control valve attachment plate. You really have to cut a ball ended allen key and attach it to a 5mm mini socket with some extensions. 90% of the work is done by `feeling`, you can´t see what you´re doing. Got it all done within a hour. My original valve was still in great shape, but after the install the car runs a lot smoother (It’s tuned to ~300Bhp). I used the yellow spring and the turbo pressure isn’t that irratic anymore.
