Dreamscience are proud to be the European distributors for Velossa Tech products. Your S550 Mustang can benefit greatly from the ram air effect. This kit is designed to scoop up, pressurize and feed fresh air into your stock air box. Improving performance, throttle response and intake air temperatures.
The stock intake path is obstructed by the front grill. The air entering the airbox is forced to change direction abruptly forcing it to become turbulent, inside this turbulent air, pressure is un-uniform. This can cause unwanted pressure drop. This pressure drop will be detected by the MAF sensor and cause the car to surge under certain conditions.
The BIG MOUTH intake allows the air to be guided through the intake path with minimal loss in total pressure, velocity and optimum flow diffusion (expansion), between the front grill and into the stock inlet path. Keeping the intake air moving at high speed all the way up to your air box is the truest form of ram induction.
During the development of the Big Mouth intake we worked alongside companies that specialize in airflow management components, and in aerospace turbine design. These skills were used to finalize the development of the Big mouth intake. When we design any BIG MOUTH intake system, Rest assured, there is no stone left unturned when we design our kits across all their applications.
