GOLD INDUCTION KIT HEAT BARRIER VELCRO SLEEVING
DESCRIPTION
The Gold Induction kit velcro thermal protection is a great accessory to harness more power from your engine, whilst keep it running at its peak for more of the time! Lower air intake temperatures for more consistent power, for more of the time. Unlike traditional Gold Heat Tape, this product can be easily removed and refitted to allow work onto the car, whilst continuing to look great! Gold makes for the perfect heat wrap, managing to reflect away up to 80% of radiant heat, whilst also providing some heat shield insulation against convectional heat transfer to help lower air intake temperatures.
At Funk Motorsport they really do know how important low intake temperatures are – that is why they have developed their very own Induction tube thermal barrier sleeve, but this time in a Gold Heat Wrap. By maintaining a lower intake temperature, this helps to provide cooler airflow to the cooling system and MAF sensor, leading to an increased ignition spark and higher output of energy from combustion! This product has been designed to be one of the most versatile car heat wrap solutions available.
This heat shield material has been used with great success in the engine bay of a wide variety of top flight motorsport applications, in order to maintain the optimal Air Intake Temperature (AIT). Some of these include the BTCC Subaru of BMR racing, Formula 4 single-seaters, and World RX contenders. These sleeves have also been used by Youtube sensations such as the Hoonigans.
This has a built in easy fit Velcro fastener and so will support any diameter of induction tube, whilst able to provide flexibility within the bends.
Unrolled and flat, the sleeves measure:

- 35xm x 0.5m (15cm diameter)
- 35cm x 1m (15cm diameter)
