Master Reset for iMap/iMap-E6 Handsets
What circumstance will I need a master reset for my handset?
- If your iMap/ iMap-E6 is married/locked to another vehicle.
- If your iMap-E6 has 0 lives (Unfortunately this option is not available for iMap models)
- If your Vehicle has had a PCM update without returning your iMap/ iMap-E6 to stock first.
- If you are unable to return your back to stock due to issues with your PCM.
MASTER RESETS CAN NOW BE CARRIED OUT REMOTLEY. THE RECOVERY FILE CAN TAKE UP TO 2 WORKING DAYS TO BE CARRIED OUT.
UNLOCKING A MARRIED DEVICE DOES NOT ADD NEW LIVES TO THE DEVICE.
Please note- any tunes stored in the ‘Custom Tunes’ section of the handset will be wiped. Therefore it is advised to keep your original copy of the custom tunes you would have received via email. Or asking the previous owner for their email copy of the Custom tunes. You can then reload any custom tunes once the Master Reset has been carried out.
