Recovery File for iMap Diagnostics

The recovery file for iMap Diagnostics is a service that assists iMap or iMap-E6 customers, who require assistance in the following scenarios

• Remotely updating your ECU strategy to a newer version.
• Remotely updating your ECU strategy number away from another tuner who changes the ECU Strategy with their software. For instance, changing a Mountune developed ECU strategy number back to a Ford Genuine ECU Strategy  (Does not include Focus ST 225 or Fiesta ST 150).
• Remotely recovering your ECU if you have immobilised the vehicle. One example being (but not limited to) If the flashing process has been interrupted due to a drop in battery voltage. or if the flashing process was interrupted due to a faulty cable or a cable that was removed mid-flash. 
• Remotely recovering your ECU if you have loaded a custom tune that was designed for a vehicle with a different ECU strategy

Assistance for iMap recovery files will only be carried out during working hours. Once ordered, recovery file diagnostics can take up-to 2 working days to complete.
